Automatic Roll-Away Nests

The Van Gent automatic roll-away nest is the result of years of practical experience with laying nests. The construction is simple and stable as a result of which the nests can be assembled more easily on-site. The expulsion system makes it possible to remove the hens periodically from the nests. This prevents fouled nests and broody hens. A mechanical time-clock activates the expulsion station.

Good results proven in practice. Very few floor - and broken eggs. For every type of hen house. Durable materials. Easy to clean. For layers and for broiler breeders. For free-range hens. Short delivery.

Different depth and formations are possible. Depending on your house and needs: Van Gent laying nests are available in ½ row (wall-formation), 1 and 2 tiers for the standard, XL and XXL nest. When necessary the nests is also deliverable with available living area on top.

The cover of the laying nest can be folded back partially for inspection of the nest.
Another part of the cover can be removed for possible belt inspection. The air tunnel prevents draught in the nest soiling of the belt and eggs by dust.
